Incident at TORONTO / LESTER B. PEARSON INTL ON (CYYZ)

Summary

1997-01-16: After the passengers had boarded, there was a fuel smell in the cabin. The station attendant noticed a 4x6' fuel spill on the ground near the tail of the aircraft. ERS was requested and the passengers deplaned. Maintenance found a leaking fuel fitting at the APU fuel control unit. The fitting was replaced and the aircraft returned to service. Ops. Impact -- unknown.
