Incident at Regina, SK

Summary

1997-12-30: CDR 1263 was taking off from Regina for a flight to Calgary when the crew reported a birdstrike at rotation. The bird struck just below the left front cockpit window, and there may be some minor damage to the pitot located there. The a/c continued to Calgary, and airport staff found the carcass of a Snowy Owl on the runway. OPI - System Safety
