Incident at 240 NE of Winnipeg, MB


1997-12-02: UAL 934 was enroute from Los Angeles to Heathrow, and northeast of Winnipeg when the crew advised ATC of a medical emergency on board. The crew initially requested to divert to Minneapolis, however 10 minutes later changed their request to Chicago. The passenger with the medical problem had suffered a heart attack. The crew asked ATC to treat the flight as a priority medevac. No other a/c were inconvenienced as a result of the incident.
