Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC) (Conflict - potential)

Summary

1997-11-26: NTM 400, a Piper Navajo, landed on Runway 25 at Calgary and stopped short of Runway 34. The Tower then cleared NTM 400 across Runway 34 and instructed the pilot to hold short of Taxiway A for conflicting traffic. C-GXHY, a Piper Seneca, was taxiing south on Taxiway A and was cleared across Runway 25 and the pilot informed that NTM 400 would hold short for him. Tower staff observed NTM 400 taxiing fast and it appeared that it would not be stopping at Taxiway A. Both pilots were instructed to stop, and C-GXHY stopped at the edge of Runway 25, while NTM 400 stopped beyond Taxiway A. OPI - Enforcement
