Incident at Winnipeg, MB


1997-11-24: The Metro II was on a local VFR flight with 2 crew on board, and when the a/c was on approach to Runway 36, the crew reported that they had an unsafe indication for the left main gear. CFR was placed on standby as the a/c landed safely at 2142Z. No other a/c were delayed or inconvenienced. Maintenance later reported that the problem was related to a faulty gear indicator switch. The switch was replaced and the a/c put back in service. OPI - System Safety
