Incident at Between The Pas and Winnipeg

Summary

1997-10-23: On an IFR flight at 9000 feet from The Pas to Winnipeg on A13, KEE 205 was observed 24 miles west of course, or about 12 miles outside of protected airspace. The pilot was informed of his position by the ACC controller, but provided no comments to ATC. Transport Canada System Safety staff have contacted the company and advised the CEO of the incident. He will discuss the course deviation with the pilot and report back to System Safety.
