Incident at Winnipeg, MB

Summary

1997-10-22: CFC 2631 was inbound to Winnipeg after a flight from Thule AFB with 12 people on board, when the crew advised ATC that they had shut down the number 1 engine. The a/c was about 15 miles north of the airport at the time. The crew declared an emergency and ERS was put on standby as the a/c landed on Runway 36 at 2054Z. There were minimal delays to other a/c during the incident.
