Incident at Springbank,AB

Summary

1997-10-21: The pilot of C-FWPV was conducting circuits, and when the a/c was on crosswind, it struck a bird. The pilot requested priority for landing with unknown damage, and two other a/c ahead of C-FWPV were moved in order that C-FWPV could land. The a/c was examined on the ground and it was confirmed that the a/c had sustained a bird strike on the lower cowl and propellor. No damage was reported.
