Incident at Mossbank, SK

Summary

1997-10-07: The CT-114 Tutor was on a routine dual training flight from Moose Jaw when the a/c sustained an engine failure. The crew were able to dead stick the a/c to a landing at an abandoned WW II airbase at Mossbank with no reported damage or injuries. The military is in the process of returning the a/c to Moose Jaw, where the engine will be examined to determine the cause of the failure.
