Incident at Vicinity of Regina, SK

Summary

1997-10-06: CDR 1328 departed Regina for Calgary at 0009Z and 8 minutes later, the crew advised ATC that they were cancelling their flight plan and returning to Regina because of a "horn problem". Upon contacting Regina Tower, the crew said they wanted to circle south of the airport to do some checks to correct the problem. At 0024Z, the crew then advised that they wanted a clearance to divert to Saskatoon, and at 0026Z, clearance was issued and the a/c left the area for Saskatoon. The a/c landed there without further incident and subsequently left for Calgary after the problem was fixed.
