Incident at Winnipeg, MB

Summary

1997-09-19: C-FMPA was en route from London, ON to Winnipeg with 3 people on board, when the crew advised ATC of intermittent low oil pressure readings. The a/c later landed safely on Runway 31 without further incident, with no delays for other a/c. More details will follow. UPDATE The problem was related to fuel pressure, not oil pressure as first reported, and maintenance has not been able to duplicate the problem in ground testing. As a precaution, they have replaced the a/c's fuel pump and the a/c checks out normally during run-ups.
