Incident at 100 M SW of Saskatoon, SK

Summary

1997-08-06: KFA 501 departed Saskatoon for Vancouver and about 100 miles southwest of YXE, the crew informed ATC that they would have to descend from their assigned altitude of FL 240 because of pressurization problems. KFA 501 was cleared to descend to 16,000 feet, however a few minutes later, the a/c was observed at FL 247. When asked about their situation, the crew of KFA 501 indicated they had climbed because of turbulence. They were given another clearance to 16,000 feet and the a/c descended and carried on to destination. No other a/c were inconvenienced.
