Incident at Calgary, AB

1997-07-25: ACA 125 was enroute from Toronto to Calgary when the crew advised ATC that the a/c had a hydraulic problem and that they would report on descent about the gear extension. The pilot then indicated that the gear appeared to be extended properly, and the a/c landed on Runway 16 at 2301Z. The pilot requested a tow to the terminal, which resulted in the runway being closed for 8 minutes. UPDATE The a/c was in cruise when the crew received an ECAM message that the "green" hydraulic system had lost fluid and pressure. The a/c continued to Calgary where it landed without incident with ERS on standby, however as the green hydraulic system controls nosewheel steering, the a/c needed a tow to the terminal. Maintenance determined that a seal had torn, which resulted in a loss of fluid in a pressure switch. The seal and fluid were replaced, the system tested, and the a/c put back in service.
