Incident at Calgary, AB

Summary

1997-07-17: The crew of N525DC aborted their takeoff on Runway 16 and exited the runway on Taxiway C. The pilot informed Tower that the a/c had blown a tire and requested assistance. He later informed Tower that both tires had blown. Taxiway C was closed between Taxiway X and Runway 07/25 because the a/c cannot be moved until the following day as new tires have to be flown in from Witchita. There was a minor operational impact at the airport.
