Incident at 20 S of Thompson, MB

Summary

1997-07-15: The Calm Air flight was on descent into Thompson with 13 people on board when the a/c encountered severe clear air turbulence at about 14,000 feet. Four elderly passengers hit their heads on the overhead bins and one flight attendant was thrown to the floor. The attendant received some bruising and the passengers were examined in hospital but were not injured. The a/c was inspected and returned to service.
