Incident at Whitehorse, YT


1997-07-07: On departure from Runway 13R, the a/c lost an engine, the crew dumped the a/c's load of fire retardant and requested an immediate clearance to return and land on Runway 31L. ERS was on standby while ABS 10 landed safely. UPDATE Maintenance changed a cylinder on the affected engine and returned the a/c to service.
