Incident at Churchill, MB

Summary

1997-06-30: C-GWNU was inbound from South Knife Lake and was landing on Runway 07. The pilot forgot to lower the wheels on the amphibious floats and came to a halt about 2000 feet from the threshold of the gravel runway. With the help of airport staff, the a/c was able to get it's wheels extended and it taxied to the apron. Damage to the floats was limited to paint scrapes and the a/c departed Churchill the same day.
