Incident at Winnipeg, MB

Summary

1997-06-24: Ten miles west of Winnipeg, after departing for Saskatoon, the pilot of the a/c advised that he was having battery problems and would have to return to Winnipeg. He requested CFR and clearance to land on Runway 07 and was given both. The a/c landed safely and taxied to the apron under it's own power. Maintenance reports that earlier in the day, the maintenance crew had been working on the radar using the battery and had probably run the power down.
