Incident at Brandon, MB

Summary

1997-06-18: C-GDCZ was making a cross-wind landing on Runway 26 at Brandon, where the winds were at 16 to 24 kts. and 60 degrees left of the centreline. Shortly after touchdown, directional control of the a/c was lost and the a/c exited the runway to the left, some 1100 feet from the threshold. Control was regained and the a/c taxied to the ramp with no damage or injuries, and no damage to runway lighting. Maintenance found no evidence of mechanical malfunction or a/c system failure.
