Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC) (Conflict - loss of separation)

Summary

1997-06-06: Sunwest 215, a Metro III, was enroute to Calgary from Edmonton City Centre airport at 15,000 feet while Westjet 115, a Boeing 737, was enroute to Calgary from Edmonton International airport, descending to 16,000 feet. An operating irregularity occurred when WJA 115 descended below 16,000 feet. WJA was instructed to climb, and the a/c did achieve vertical separation. The a/c was 200 feet above and 2 1/2 miles behind CNK 215.
