Incident at Winnipeg, MB

Summary

1997-05-23: C-FPQQ departed Winnipeg for Regina and as the a/c was climbing through 15,000 feet, the lower left corner of the right front windshield panel beside the windshield heat terminal, cracked and delaminated in a 2" by 3" area. The crew diverted to Winnipeg and landed without incident. The a/c was later ferried to Saskatoon for replacement of the windshield panel. The operator has submitted an SDR to Transport Canada.
