Incident at Winnipeg, MB

Summary

1997-05-22: PAG 81 departed from Kenora,ON at 2343Z and the pilot advised Kenora FSS that he suspected that the a/c had blown a main gear tire on takoff. The a/c continued the flight to Winnipeg where ERS was on standby. The a/c did a flyby the tower for a visual inspection and the tire appeared normal. The a/c landed safely on Runway 07 at 0100Z. The pilot confirmed that the tire was flat and the a/c was towed to the hangar at 0139Z. No injuries or damage occurred and no other a/c were inconvenienced.
