Accident at Drumheller, AB

Summary

1997-05-01: Through the Springbank FSS, the pilot of C-FRUE reported hearing a communication regarding an a/c that had completed a forced landing in a field near Drumheller. C-FRUE located the downed a/c and could only confirm the last two letters of the a/c identification as "YY". The local RCMP later reported that the a/c had a mechanical problem and that the pilot had landed safely on the Drumheller golf course. No injuries were reported.
