Incident at Winnipeg, Manitoba

1997-04-03: While on a dual training session, the crew of a Perimeter Aviation Beech D95A Travel Air, noticed oil on the right engine cowling followed by a fluctuation of the right engine oil pressure. The engine was shut down and the aircraft returned to Winnipeg and landed without further incident. The source of the engine oil leak was traced to a leaking vacuum pump seal. The seal was replaced and the aircraft was returned to service.
