Summary

1997-03-11: The pilot of C-GIFN encountered deteriorating weather and Grande Prairie FSS provided an initial heading, suggested by the RADAR controller in Edmonton ACC. FSS judged the continuing situation to be an emergency, informed the pilot of that judgement, authorized special VFR and provided DF steers to a safe landing at Grande Prairie.
