Incident at Fort Simpson, NWT

Summary

1997-03-03: The pilot of C-GSHM, a homebuilt, experienced a broken bungee cord on one ski during the flight. While in flight, the pilot was able to get the ski back in position. The pilot used his rifle through the fabric of the aircraft to reposition the ski for landing. The aircraft was landed without further incident at 1928Z.
