Summary

1997-03-03: The Prince Albert Aviation Services Cessna 172, C-F00F, was on a local student solo flight. An engine inspection panel opened in flight and the student pilot declared an emergency and returned for landing. Maintenance inspection revealed a hinge pin which had worked loose.
