Accident at Lloydminster, Alberta


1997-02-27: The pilot was landing on runway 25 at Lloydminster with a cross wind component from 300 degrees at 20 to 30 knots. Shortly after touchdown, a loss of aircraft control occurred, which caused the left wing tip to strike the runway surface and the aircraft ended up in the snowbank which bordered the runway. There was no injuries to the pilot and very minor damage to the wing tip.
