Incident at Thompson, Manitoba

Summary

1997-02-24: The pilot landed on runway 32 at Thompson and came to a stop beyond the intersection of runway 05/23. He then accomplished a 180 degree turn and held short of 05/23 while other traffic was landing. While in this position, the engine quit. After a number of attempts to restart the engine, the pilot requested assistance and the aircraft was towed to the hangar line. No other aircraft were inconvenienced.
