Incident at Winnipeg, Manitoba


1997-02-19: The pilot of SGK 335 which was enroute Winnipeg from Easterville, MB advised Winnipeg Tower that due to an unsafe nose gear indication he was requesting ERS for a minor standby. The pilot then did a fly by of the Tower so that a visual check could be conducted by ground observers. The pilot was told that the nose gear appeared normal and the aircraft was then landed without further incident. There was besides the pilot, 5 passengers on board.
