Incident at EDMONTON INTL AB (CYEG)

Summary

1997-02-17: The Boeing 737 had been cleared for take-off from Edmonton International to Calgary International Airport when the take-off thrust had been applied. The crew noted that they had no exhaust pressure ratio (EPR) indication. The take-off was rejected, and the aircraft cleared the runway via the first available taxiway. The circuit breakers were checked and reset, and the EPR gauges became operational again. These breakers had been checked prior to the engine start. The aircraft was taxied back to the runway where an 80 percent N1 run-up was completed before take-off. The aircraft completed the flight without further incident.
