Summary

1997-02-11: After take off from runway 27, the engine of C-GWXT, a C150, quit. The pilot landed straight ahead on runway 27. No damage reported. Update to follow. UPDATE: The pilot of the Cessna 150M departed runway 27 at Saskatoon for a local training flight. Shortly after lift-off, the engine began to lose power and run rough. The pilot landed the aircraft on the runway and taxied to the ramp, without further incident. Engineers have checked the aircraft and completed several ground runs, but the problem persists, and they are seeking assistance from the manufacturer.
