Incident at Winnipeg, Manitoba

Summary

1997-02-03: Approximately 150 miles southeast of Winnipeg, the pilot of ACA833 reported possible nose gear problems. The pilot felt that he may have a problem with the nose wheel steering and requested that ERS be on standby. The aircraft was landed without further incident at 0413Z and taxied to the apron unassisted. No one was inconvenienced. There were 53 SOB. UPDATE: Maintenance found that the nose gear oleo centering and extended sensor was not correctly positioned because of a bent bracket. The bracket was replaced. There were three crew and 47 passengers on board.
