Incident at 60nm north of St. John's

Summary

1997-12-01: Around 60 miles north of St. John's, the pilot requested to return to St. John's due to an inoperative landing gear light. The flight landed at 1110z with no assistance required. No assistance required. Aircraft landed safely at 1110z. Maintenance again inspected the gear system and did not find a cause for the problem to re-occur. (ref: Cador 97A0546) It appears the problem may have been weather related. The aircraft will undergo a maintenance test flight before being returned to service. TSB closed.
