Incident at Sydney NS


1997-11-03: ARN817 DHC-8 aborted take-off roll at Sydney, 1929z. Pilot exited runway and advised that this was due to a hydraulic problem. No other information available. TSB evaluating. UPDATE: Maintenance advised that the problem was traced to a leaking Hydraulic line (Part #829 200 10-169) in the aircraft's landing gear extension/retraction system. The line was replaced and the aircraft was returned to service. An SDR will be submitted to Transport Canada.
