Incident at Gander Nfld


1997-09-24: AMT8719 L101 was on the take-off roll when the engine vibration light for the # 1 engine illuminated. The take-off was rejected and as the aircraft was being taxiied back to the ramp the warning light system was switched from the "B" system to the "A" system and the light extinguished. The "B" system was reselected and the light remained off. The engine was inspected and no faults could be found. The aircraft was returned to service and subsequently departed to 1240 NDT without any re-occurrence of the problem.
