Summary

1997-09-04: MPH830 B747 enroute Mexico to Amsterdam FL340. TOW36 B747 New York to Paris FL330. Aircraft were on crossing routes and TOW36 was not RVSM certified. 2000 feet vertical or 5 miles separation required. Separation was reduced to aprx 2.5 miles and 1000 feet verical. Investigation on-going.
