Incident at St. John's NFLD

Summary

1997-08-21: ACA133 EA32 departing St. John's at 1719z had a PA28 as traffic inbound. The PA28 had ACA133 visual and advised Tower that they would remain North of the departure path. Tower passed ACA133 the traffic 3 miles at 1 O'clock. ACA133 reported following TCAS resolution advisory and descended from 3100 to 2800 feet before resuming climb to FL280.
