Incident at Fredericton

Summary

1997-08-11: ATL428 BA41 enroute Fredericton to Saint John NB was issued an amended SID Clearance to 3000'. Aircraft was observed leaving 3400' and was advised of restriction and recleared to 5000'. ATL428 had been radar identified prior through 2200'. Traffic was SPR501 PA31 inbound at 4000'. Separation was not affected. Pilot contacted ACC after landing and advised that he had noticed the error through 3200' and was correcting when contacted by ATC.
