Summary

1997-05-08: SSV990, EA32, encountered moderate to severe turbulence at 6148n 4350w (aprx 600 nmn NE Goose Bay) which affected the auto pilot and resulted in an unplanned climb from FL390- to FL400. Nil traffic and no other reports of turbulence recieved. No TSB involvement.
