Incident at Moncton FIR

Summary

1997-07-11: COA35, a DC10 registered N13066 was enroute from Gatwick to Houston and traversed the Moncton FIR without contacting Moncton ACC. Contact was attempted on all available ATC frequencies and SELCAL. Aircraft was finally contacted 20 nm west of the Moncton FIR by Boston ARTCC. Aircraft was at FL320 in RVSM transition airspace and Moncton ACC was unable to transition this flight to the appropriate entry level.
