Incident at South portion of Moncton FIR (ATS operating irregularity)

Summary

1997-03-24: Flight was MTM137, a Lear 55 registered D-COOL and was from St..John's NFLD to Bermuda vis KINGG-A700-SLATN-A632 to Bermuda. The aircraft deviated off course and into New York airspace west off the flight planned route. Moncton ACC had Radar contact with the flight and when deviation was noticed, attempted to establish radio contact with the flight without success. Moncton ACC advised New York and Boston. New York monitored the flight's progress on domestic radar. It is not known when radio contact was established. No other traffic was involved when the aircraft was in Moncton airspace.
