Incident at St.John's, NF.

Summary

1997-02-17: ARN8829, a Convair 580 was planned from Goose Bay to St. John's. At approximately 2000z the pilot advised that they were shutting down the left engine because they could not reduce power on it. ERS was standing by, no delays to traffic. The aircraft landed at St.John's safely at 2013z. TSB closed.
