Incident at St. John's NFLD

Summary

1997-02-05: Engine failed on the take-off roll (40-50kts). Rejected the take-off and the engine was secured. Proceeded back to the ramp. Inspection revealed that a failure occurred in the turbine. Further details will be available after teardown.
