Incident at Goose Bay, Labrador

Summary

1997-02-05: The aircraft was out of Goose Bay enroute to Narssarssuaq, when overhead LOACH the pilot indicated they were reversing course due to a fuel transfer problem. No assistance required and the aircraft landed safely at 1328z. It is suspected that the right hand crossfeed valve cable could have frozen in position due to moisture. TSB no involvement.
