Incident at Halifax

Summary

1997-07-11: On departure from RWY06 at Halifax the Air Atlantic flight deviated from the runway heading required by the SID. This departure from heading was the result of a TCAS alert caused by a VFR aircraft in the circuit for RWY24 which had turned base leg prematurely. No risk of collision existed. TSB no involvement.
