Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

1997-01-29: The Airwave Transport PA31-350, AVI 310, was landing on runway 11 at Moncton when a main tire blew. The aircraft came to a stop on the runway. The runway was closed for one hour and five minutes to tow the aircraft off the runway. Maintenance changed the tire and the aircraft was returned to service. Update: Typo- runway 31 was changed to 11
