Incident at Blanc Sablon & St. Anthony

1997-01-08: SPR902 took off from Blanc Sablon flew to St Anthony and landed without any apparent problems. On taxiing in, another company aircraft SPR 903, who was waiting to depart St. Anthony, told SPR 902 that they were missing a wheel off the right undercarriage. Blanc Sablon was contacted and asked to carry out a search of their runway. The tire was found about 3/4 of the way down runway 23 at Blanc Sablon. The pilot's only comment was that the right brake seemed a little spongy.
