Incident at Saint John NB

Summary

1997-01-08: Swordfish20, a training flight out of Greenwood NS blew a tire on what was to be a touch and go on runway 23 at Saint John NB, but the crew elected to carry out a full stop landing. It was thought that no damage occurred and no injuries were reported. At 1220Z on Jan 8th FSS called and advised that there was some damage to the undercarriage of the aircraft. Aircraft had already departed at 0207Z. Report of damage apparently came from the firehall on the 8th of Jan.
