Incident at Vancouver
Summary
1996-12-09: A report faxed to Vancouver FSS by the pilot of C-GKBX, indicated that the DH6 was northbound on the "salmon transit" at approx 500 feet agl about 1 mile north of the Sandheads fix when a C180 appeared at close range. The C180 was at approximately the same altitude, at its 9 o'clock position, on a heading of approximately 080 degrees. The pilot of the C180 gained visual contact of the DH6 and turned to the right to pass behind the DH6.
